Rental Agreement and Confirmation
Bungalow #28 – Playa Hermosa, Costa
Rica
This agreement made
____________________, with
___________________________________, further referred to as
"Guest", of Bungalow #28, Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica and Kelly
Curro & Doug Duclos, owners of #28.
The rental period shall begin
___________________ and end __________________________. Check
in time shall not be before ____________ local time and check
out time shall be no later than ___________ local
time.
RENTAL RATE: The rental rate
for the above period will be (US) $___________ as agreed upon
through email or telephone conversations.
PAYMENT TERMS: The payment of the rental rate shall be made
and will be refundable as follows:
A. Half of the rental rate, namely (US)
$__________ is due as a deposit on the rental no later than 7
business days from the date of this agreement. If payment is
not received within that time, the reservation cancels and
this agreement is null and void. Payment can be made by check
or credit card (through paypal). Make checks payable to Kelly
Curro and mail to 7210 High Sierra Circle West Palm Beach, Fl
33411.
B. The remaining portion of the rental
rate, namely (US) $___________ is due _______________( two
weeks prior to arrival). If payment is not received the
reservation will cancel and the agreement is null and
void.
C. Cancellations made 31 days or more
prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the
initial 50% deposit less a 10% handling fee. Cancellations
made 30 days or less prior to the arrival date will forfeit
the initial payment of half the rental agreement.
SECURITY
DEPOSIT: A (US)
$__________ refundable damage/security deposit is required at
the time of arrival to the bungalow. The security deposit must
be paid in U.S. dollars to Judith Rivera or Paolo Quaglia (the
property managers). Upon receipt of the security deposit the
property managers will release keys to Bungalow #28. The
security deposit is to insure the Guest’s full compliance with
all the terms and conditions of the agreement and to protect
the Owner from any damages or loss. The Guest and Owner hereby
acknowledge that the residence is rented in first class
condition. At the end of the stated rental term, the premises
and inventory will be returned to the Owner in the same
condition as delivered to the Guest. The security deposit will
be refunded in full at checkout provided there is not a claim
against the security deposit for loss or damage caused by
Guest to the premises or the inventory, including but not
limited to, loss caused by theft or breakage or damage caused
by stains, rips, tears, chips or misuse to any appliances,
plumbing and electric fixtures and furniture contrary
to normal usage.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. The bungalow will be cleaned and in acceptable condition
at the commencement of the rental period and must be returned
in the same condition.
2. The Guest hereby acknowledges that they have been
advised that the residence and premises has not been child
proofed and the property is without a pool fence or a fence
blocking access to the beach. The Guest agrees to hold the
Owner harmless from any claim of any kind whether for injury,
loss or damages or any sort arising from or in connection with
the aforesaid condition or any other conditions.
3. The Guest hereby acknowledges that they have been
advised that the water in and around the Bungalow is not for
drinking and can be cloudy.
4. This is a non-smoking unit. Smoking inside the
bungalow is not permitted and will result in forfeiture of the
damage deposit.
5. No pets are permitted on the
premises.
6. In the event of any default under
this agreement, the Owner shall have all the rights and
remedies granted to lodging establishments and landlords under
Costa Rican law, as well as the right to immediately retake
possession of the premises.
7. The Guest agrees that Owner or
Property managers may inspect the premises during the rental
term during reasonable hours. If such inspection reveals
damage or loss caused to the premises by the Guest, the Owner
may immediately terminate the agreement and remove the Guest
from the premises.
This Agreement shall be governed by the
laws of Costa Rica and only the courts of Costa Rica shall
have any jurisdiction of the parties in the enforcement of
this Agreement.

property managers reside in bungalow #10. Their phone is

to pass on these numbers to relatives incase of an emergency.
