Where is bungalow #28?

Bungalow # 28 is a beach house located in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica. It is an hour and a half drive from the international airport in San Jose. This Hermosa beach house is located in the small resort community of Hermosa Paradise, just five minutes from the happening town of Jaco, CR.

How many people does the beach house sleep?

  The house sleeps six. The house has two queen beds and  two twin beds.

Should I rent a car?

It is your choice!  Some of our customers rent a car in San Jose and drive to the beachfront rental.  Others prefer to take a cab or transfer to the house and then rent a car in Jaco.  The cab fare to Jaco is about $5.  The transfer fee round trip to and from the airport is $130 for two people.

How do I make a reservation?  

To make a reservation we require a signed rental agreement and an initial deposit.

DO you accept credit cards?

Yes, you can pay by credit card through paypal.

Can you drink the water? 

I do not recommend you drink the tap water since the filtation process in Costa Rica is different from most countries.  Bottled water is served everywhere.

Is there a groceries store nearby? 

Yes, there are a number of grocery stores in Jaco, five minutes from the beach house.

How do I get the key to the house?

When you arrive at Hermosa Paradise go to bungalow #10 where our property managers Judith and Paolo live.  They will give you the key and show you around the property.

Are there restaurants in walking distants from the house?

Yes, there are several restaurants and bars on Playa Hermosa.

How far is the beach from the house?

The bungalow is beach front, it is less than a minute's walk to the beach.

Who Should I contact in case I have a problem while I am there?

Judith and Paolo, the onsite property managers are there to help you with anything.  We also have a maintenance man on call 24 hours.
